Dear All:

On behalf of the Board of Trustees of Balambika Divya Sangam, I would like to welcome all devotees to the official website of Malur Sri Balambika Temple. Balambika Divya Sangam was founded in the year 2010 to build a temple for Sri Bala Tripura Sundari. Now the sanctum santorioum has Rajarajeswari as a arai bhimbam on the wall and Bala Triupura Sundari as the pradhana deity. To move closer to God, we must love other people like our own and help those are in need. Understanding this need, this organisation strictly follows the three basic paths laid down by Hinduism:

Karmamarga: Path of Work and Action

This we follow, by doing activities related to the community around us. We have volunteers visiting the schools in and around Malur Town to conduct many social programmes such as,

  • Health & Hygiene
  • Dental Camps
  • Reading Club Activities
  • Annadhanam (Breakfast Meal)
  • Encouraging Sports

The above activities have brought around a perceptible change among Govt. School going kids and their families in Malur.

Jnanamarga: Path of Knowledge

This is through understanding of the Namavalis of Bala Tripura Sundari in the form of:

  • Bala Sahasranamam Bhashyam – explaining the meaning of every word in it and relating it to our daily life.
  • Devi Bhagavatham classes are conducted every fortnight online to understand Hinduism, our traditions & cultures, which is the basis of what we are today.
  • Monthly newsletter “Balavin Kural” contains articles which help us expand our horizon on the spiritual level.
Bhaktimarga: Path of Devotion to God

This is achieved through our regular,

  • Poojas and sevas at temple
  • Celebration of Bala's Birthday, Chandi Homam, Navarathri, Pournami Pooja, Karthikai Deepam and many more...
  • Dolais at Devotees residence
  • Bala Sahasranamam Parayanam where many groups or mandalis gather to chant
  • Composing and singing Bala Bhajans which tries to potray Her glory and splendour
  • Printing of several slokas and namavalli books on Bala Tripura Sundari.

With the grace of Sri Balambika, we plan to have the temple Maha Kumbhabhishekam on the 10th of April, 2017. There will be elaborate poojas and rituals conducted by several learned scholarly shivachariyars, specially trained in Agama Shastram temple kumbabishekam. The Kumbhabhishekam page and the Temple page on this website have exhaustive information that could help the readers in the following ways:

  • Help understand the rich tradition and architectural magnificence of our temples
  • To understand the scale of work required for Kumbabishekam
  • To navigate through the temple activities on the day of Kumbabishekam and before
  • Quickly find relevant information needed
  • Ways to partcipate in various programmes
  • Understand the benefits of what we do

In conclusion, I would like to take this opportunity to thank each one of you who have helped us come this far. May Ambal Shower Her Blessings on each and every one of you!

Sarve Jana Sukhinobavantu...

Your's Sincerely,
(Mrs. Asha Manoharan)
