Health & Hygiene
This program is aimed at children who are in their teens, hoping to inculcate good personal hygiene practices in and around them. These weekly workshops encompass varied branches of hygiene viz. hand hygiene, bathing hygiene and oral hygiene. BDS has been conducting 6-week workshops in schools in Malur for over 7 years now.

Objective of this Program is to engage the kids with varieties of activity based learning and games which were designed by our BDS President. Every kid thoroughly enjoys their learning experience and loved the book "Bala and Mala". In this process, the reading habit and ability has increased significantly among these students.

BDS conducts Homework Club for 7th Standard students. Homework club is geared towards enabling the students in English vocabulary, pronunciations, comprehensions in line with their curriculum via activity and game based teaching. There has been a positive feedback from students and parents alike on the effectiveness of this program.

Objective of this program is to identify, recognize and nurture highly talented Individuals via literary competitions. Also, these competitions are aligned closely with our Educational Programs such as reading club, homework club and will serve as a dip stick to assess the effectiveness of our programs.

BDS is planning to initiate a new pilot program for kids from 5 to 10 years of age. The objective of this program is to inculcate Hindu culture and tradition to kids via game and activity-based teaching. This program will start with remote classes to help children connect from their current location and benefit from the content imparted.
